Project Description

High Maintenance began as a web series created by Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld. The show follows a nameless marijuana deliveryman called The Guy as he delivers his product to clients in New York City. In the Trixie episode, two Airbnb hosts smoke up to relieve the stress of their awful Euro-trash guests. Vimeo had provided financial backing for upcoming episodes, "as part of a move into a Netflix-style production model" of original programming via their Vimeo on Demand platform. In April 2015 it was announced that High Maintenance would be crossing over to TV with a six-episode order by HBO.
